High Altitude Cooking & Baking with Cortney - $79 per person
Ever wonder why your cookies spread too much or your bread collapses here in the mountains? In this class you’ll learn how to adjust recipes for the challenges of high-altitude cooking and baking. We’ll explore how thinner air and lower boiling points affect everything from breads and cakes to soups and meats. Together, we’ll make and taste dishes that demonstrate how small changes in time, temperature, and ingredients lead to perfect results. By the end, you’ll have the confidence to cook and bake beautifully—no matter your elevation. This is a hands-on class taught in our 2 x 4 format where each group of 2 makes a different recipe and then we all share a family style feast!
