High Altitude Quickbreads with Cortney - $75 per person

These seemingly simple bakes can be quite a task at altitude.  In this class we’ll talk about why you might choose to use oil or butter in your muffins, how to use eggs to build structure in quickbreads and how mixing can change the texture of your baked goods.  We’ll also spend the beginning of class learning how and why these tricky bakes are a real challenge at our altitude. Plus, Cortney will share her tips for converting sea level quickbreads to high altitude recipes. This is a hands-on class. Each group of 2 will make the recipes together, each person will leave with 6 muffins and a small loaf of Cheddar Herb Beer Bread!
