Plant Powered: Tofu-Tastic with Cortney - $85 per person
When we poll people for class topics one that comes up often is tofu! How do you prep it, how do you cook it, what do you season it with?! We probably eat tofu at home at least once a week (if not more!) and Cortney can’t wait to show you how to make it perfect every time so that you feel confident cooking up tofu at home. She’ll show you different techniques to make it just how you want if for different recipes, whether your marinating and grilling or trying to get a crispy exterior and soft interior. This is a hands-on class. This class is taught in our 2x4 format – we’ll split up into groups of 2 and each twosome will tackle one recipe.
*This class will use all extra firm tofu. But keep an eye out for another upcoming tofu class where we’ll be using four different textures, too!
On the menu:
· Bulgogi Tofu Rice Bowl (Shredded Tofu)
· Italian Focaccia Sandwiches (Thinly Sliced & Marinated)
· BBQ Hassleback Tofu with Vegan Mac & Cheese (Glazed & Accordian Cut)
· Ethiopian Groundnut Stew with Crispy Tofu (Cubed & Airfried)
