Spice, Spice, Baby! This class is about FLAVOR and some of my favorite all-time foods come from the Arabian Gulf! Throughout history, the A.G. has been a melting pot of flavors with many different civilizations leaving their culinary mark on the region. With influences from India/Southeast Asia, the Persians (Mughals), Turks, and even the Moors in Southern Spain, Gulf cuisines are some of the most flavorful and have stood the test of time for good reason! This is a hands-on class. This class is taught in our 2x4 format – we’ll split up into groups of 2 and each twosome will tackle one recipe.

On the menu:

• Chicken Majbus – Spiced Chicken and Rice (National Dish of a few Gulf Countries)
• Kibbeh Bil Sanieh – Baked Kibbeh with Ground Lamb, Onion, and Spices
• Gozleme –Lamb, Spinach, and Feta Stuffed Flatbreads (handmade dough)
• Sfiha (Lahm bi Ajin) – Spiced Meat Pies (handmade dough)
