Best Of: Mediterranean Diet - $85 per person
The Mediterranean Diet harnesses the traditional way of eating and highlights foods that are consumed in the countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea. With an emphasis on olive oil, vegetables, and fish (with the occasional red meat dish or dessert), the M.D. retrains us to develop Healthy Eating Patterns without sacrificing many of the flavors we love most! I PROMISE you will not know you’re eating “diet” food! This is a hands-on class. This class is taught in our 2x4 format – we’ll split up into groups of 2 and each twosome will tackle one recipe.
On the menu:
· Red Lentil and Bulgur Kofte with Armenian Vegetable Salad
· Braised Lamb in Eggplant Bechamel
· Ras el Hanout Roasted Cauliflower Steaks with Warm Moroccan Freekeh Salad
· Stewed Potatoes in Tomato Sauce with Salata Baladi
