Ingredients

¼ C. flour

2 T. butter

2 onions, diced

2 carrots, sliced

5 cloves garlic, smashed

1 can Pikes Peak Brewing Co. Gold Belgian-Style Golden Strong Ale

2-3 tablespoons Gather Green Dream Seasoning
-
3 T. molasses
-
3 T. apple cider vinegar
-
5 sprigs thyme
-
3 sprigs flat leaf parsley
-
2 bay leaves
-
Baguette, to serve

Egg noodles, optional
Directions
For a pressure cooker
Add bacon and render the fat. Add and saute the onions, and carrots. Cook until they have started to pick up color. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the beer, beef consommé, seasoning, molasses, vinegar, thyme, parsley, and bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper and close the lid to the pressure cooker. Set to 40 minutes on high pressure.
For the crockpot
Follow Steps 1-2 as above, but brown in a pan on the stove. Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
For the stovetop
Follow steps above using a dutch oven on the stove. Add all ingredients to Dutch oven and simmer for 2-3 hours or until meat is tender.
