Small Batch Homemade Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 4 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
  • ¾ cup water
  • Optional: 1 tablespoons up to ¼ cup sugar (depends on the sweetness of the apple and how sweet you would like your applesauce)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan; bring to a boil, then lower to a high simmer until apples are soft, about 15 to 20 minutes.

  2. Allow apple mixture to cool, then mash with a until it is the consistency you like. Refrigerate and enjoy!
