Using Spices: Chile Powders with Dave
Do you have a cabinet full of spices you don’t know what to do with? In this class we’re going to go over individual spices and learn how to use them in new fun ways. Since we’ve covered Paprikas, let’s now turn our attention to other chili powders and see what we can do with them! Some will be mild, some will be hot, but they will all be delicious This class with repeat every month with a new spice! This is a hands-on class. This class is taught in our 2x4 format – we’ll split up into groups of 2 and each twosome will tackle one recipe.
On the menu:
- Guajillo Chile Powder – Caldo de Habas
- Hatch Green Chile Powder – Southwest H.G.C. Crusted Chicken Alfredo
- Aleppo Pepper – Chicken Kabobs with Dates, Feta, and Tahini
- Gochugaru – Sweet and Spicy Blondies
