Persian Dinner with Dave
Persian (Iranian) cuisine is special because the country itself is nestled between the Middle East and the Far East making it a melting pot for many different flavors, techniques, and ingredients. In this class we are going to use some of the ingredients and techniques that define Persian cuisine and learn how they are applied to achieve deep and complex flavors. This is a hands-on class. This class is taught in our 2x4 format – we’ll split up into groups of 2 and each twosome will tackle one recipe.
On the menu:
- Advieh Jujeh Kabob – Spice Blend (Advieh) Seasoned Chicken Kabobs
- Ghormeh Sabzi – Beef, Kidney Beans, Herbs Stew
- Lubia Polo – Rice with Ground Lamb and Green Beans
- Sholeh Zard – Iranian Rice Pudding
